Can I remove aluminium oxide with vinegar ? - glass bead blasting
I have a few pieces of aluminum engine that I intend to paint with high temperature engine. The parties have criticized the beads and was hanging in my garage a ballast week. I was told that it will not be a good paint adhesion, so I used an aluminum etch primer, because it quickly oxidizes. They told me that I remove the oxide layer of paint without a primer to enjoy the parts in a vinegar solution of 50% for one hour. Do you think that it works? I do not have access to all industrial chemicals, household goods only. Thank you.
